First off, thank you for everyone that came by, commented, and followed. This has helped get my author blog out there and for that I am grateful. There were so many wonderful comments, and the responses were great.

When our little town of Westerly flooded we met lots of people at the shelter and when I got left at the Middle school after we had been bussed in for showers some of the other people that had a car let me ride back to the shelter with them. Later I found out their car broke down and so I started to pick them up to take them to and from work 6 days a week and church on Sundays. I did this for about 8 months until they could save up to get another car.
